In response to the widespread adoption of electronic invoicing imposed by tax reforms in Europe, IRIUM SOFTWARE has anticipated regulatory changes by drawing on the expertise of Cecurity.com, a recognized player in digital trust and technology partner of the ISAGRI group. Thanks to this collaboration and its new iFacture module, the publisher offers its customers a solution that is fully integrated with its ERP systems to ensure simple and secure compliance.
✅A common solution to meet European tax obligations
The ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) project led by the European Commission represents the culmination of the electronic invoicing reform. Its objective is to harmonize B2B exchanges within the EU, strengthen the fight against VAT fraud, and simplify reporting obligations for all European companies. ViDA provides for the gradual generalization of electronic invoicing and e-reporting for intra-EU transactions, with common structured formats to ensure full interoperability between Member States.
In this context, PEPPOL is establishing itself as the preferred infrastructure for standardizing and securing the sending of electronic invoices internationally. Thanks to this European framework and the integration of PEPPOL-compliant technologies, IRIUM SOFTWARE is preparing its customers for an environment where cross-border exchanges will be simpler, faster, and perfectly aligned with future ViDA requirements. This is a key step towards harmonized, seamless, and sustainable invoicing in Europe.
The interoperability of the various connectors makes it possible to address the specific requirements of each country:
- France: compliance with the “e-invoicing/e-reporting” model piloted by the DGFiP. As an Approved Platform (PA), Cecurity.com guarantees the transmission, security, and legal archiving of invoices in Factur-X, UBL, or CII format.
- Belgium: the generalized B2B reform will come into force on January 1, 2026. IRIUM SOFTWARE is already supporting its Belgian customers with a first operational user company, and relies on the PEPPOL certified network to ensure the issuance and receipt of electronic invoices.
- Germany: The electronic invoicing requirement for private companies is now set for January 1, 2027. The ZUGFeRD and XRechnung formats are fully supported thanks to the Cecurity.com connector.
- Spain: Compliance with the VERI*FACTU standard has also been postponed until January 1, 2027. IRIUM SOFTWARE is already supporting this transition with an initial operational pilot site and the preparation of 13 other declared sites, ensuring a smooth and perfectly controlled ramp-up.
🛡️Secure and scalable architecture
This integration is based on a sovereign cloud infrastructure and eIDAS and ISO 27001 certifications, ensuring:
- data confidentiality and integrity,
- full traceability of exchanges,
- conclusive document retention in accordance with legal requirements.
