What about iMob Service?

iMob Service is a mobile application available on any smartphone or tablet. The field technician visualizes all relevant interventions information such as parts to be repaired or changed. He can also take photos before and after the intervention. Customers sign the intervention on the app and the technician can add information for guaranteed support. iMob Service also works in offline mode and synchronizes with the IRIUM SOFTWARE iEnterprise interactive workshop schedule. Currently, more than 1.500 mobile technicians use this application daily on Apple, Android or Windows 10 smartphone, tablet or PC.

Major advances for IRIUM SOFTWARE iMob Service app in 2019

In order to allow dealers to increase efficiency, the ergonomics have been further improved.

A new search bar

For example, a search bar similar to Google®'s is implemented at the top of the technician's schedule screen. Thus, technicians can easily find their interventions by typing one or more key words (name of the client, destination, vehicle, etc.).
Using the search tool, technicians can FILTER interventions: for example, a location filter displaying interventions in the same area.

Even more personalization

The app administrator can modify the information for another user. Some can be compulsory, to block a modification from a common user. Some fields can be removed or renamed…
The goal of this new customization is to better fit the company's processes and encourage technicians adherence to the app's functionalities. Then, they manage their interventions quickly.

Better informed technicians

The technician is notified of any new assigned Work Order. These notifications are sent directly to the smartphone or tablet without synchronization or opening iMob SERVICE. Changes and deletions of planned interventions are also notified directly to the technician's mobile.
