Mobility is a major issue for several months, and many of our customers have integrated in there activity some of our digital solutions.
Among our best-selling products, IRIUM presents today the fourth version of iMOB Service, a mobile app dedicated to technicians in the field.
With this tool, the mechanics can now use a tablet or a smartphone to enter their times spent (and travel expenses), enter the parts changed, update technical information on the equipment they repair, allow the customer to add a comment and make him sign the worksheet directly on the tablet or smartphone. The customer will then receive by email his detailed report automatically with photos.
The last version of this tool includes many improvements aiming at consolidating the integrity of the data uploaded by the mechanics. For exemple the mobile app detects the possible data entry errors regarding time spent on the job. The app checks if the equipment on which the mechanics is working is the same that the one of the repair order.
Last but not least, the app includes now the automatic kilometers calculation between the jobsite and the closest company’s subsidiary. This allows the technicians to enter the kilometers to invoice and the time spent in travel according to this information and to the organization chosen.
The fourth version is available to download in the stores (Google Play, Microsoft, App Store) since last October!
iMOB Service is part of the IRIUM mobile suite involving also iMOB Contact, the new Mobile CRM dedicated to dealers salesforce and iMOB Check to digitalize the checklists of rented equipment.
iMOB Service now available with Windows 10:
The application is now available for Windows 10. This makes IRIUM the first software publisher to propose a mobile solution for technicians that can be installed in absolutely all mobile devices (Android, iOS and Windows).
